Effects of this medicine

This medicine exerts cardiotonic action and blood pressure elevating effect by acting on alpha and beta adrenergic receptors. This medicine also increases the amount of breathing by bronchodilation.
It is usually used in the adjunct treatment for anaphylactic reaction due to bee poison, food and medicines. This medicine dose not cure allergy due to bee sting, food and medicines.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
  • If you have: arteriosclerosis, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, arrhythmias, psychoneurotic disorder, addiction to cocaine, or the body weight of less than 15kg.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is ((        to be written by a healthcare professional))
  • In general, the reccommended dose is 0.01 mg/kg as the active ingredient. Inject 0.15 mg or 0.3 mg of the active ingredient intramuscularly in accordance with your body weight. Strictly follow the instructions.
  • Do not remove the blue safety cap until you are ready to use the medicine.
    You can use this injection when you have any sign of rapid allergic reactions (anaphylaxis, etc.) or its symptoms.
    Please consult with your doctor for detailed instructions.
    This preparation is designed not to release any medicine once you have injected, so please do not inject twice using the same preparation.
    Strictly follow the instructions, and practice how you would use it in case of necessity.
  • If you accidentally inject more than your prescribed dose, please consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions while taking this medicine

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include palpitations, headache, dizziness, anxiety, tremor, hypersensitivity, nausea/vomiting, hot flashes, and sweating. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
  • exercise-induced palpitations, breathing difficulty, orthopnea [pulmonary edema]

  • increase in pulse rate, arrhythmia, palpitations [cardiac arrest]

Storage conditions and other information

  • This preparation deteriorates easily on exposure to light. Avoid cold places and high temperature on exposure to sunlight and store it in a carrying case where the temperature ranges from 15 to 30 degrees Celsius.
  • Pay attention to the expiration date. Do not use this preparation if there is discoloration or precipitate.
  • It is recommended to inform the flight company when you book the flight that you will carry this medicine on the airplane, in order to avoid any trouble at security check.
  • Do not decompose this medicine. It is very dangerous.
  • Please submit the preparation to healthcare providers after you used the medicine or when you have the preparation you don't need anymore.
