Effects of this medicine

This medicine is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins that cause inflammation, reduces inflammation and relieves pain. It is usually used to relieve pain and inflammation of lumbar pain, osteoarthritis, periarthritis of the shoulder, tendinitis/tendovaginitis, peritendinitis, humeral epicondylitis (tennis elbow, etc.), muscle pain, swelling and pain after trauma, and for analgesia of localized joint in rheumatoid arthritis.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
    If you have aspirin asthma or history of aspirin asthma, history of hypersensitivity to products containing tiaprofenic acid, suprofen, fenofibrate, oxybenzone and octocrylene (sun screen, perfume, etc.), history of photosensitivity, bronchial asthma.
  • If you have many outdoor activities and exposure to ultraviolet light.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • In general, apply to the affected area once a day. Strictly follow the instructions.
  • Do not apply on areas with wounds, mucous membranes, eczema or rashes as it may cause skin irritation.
  • If you miss a dose, apply a dose as soon as remember. However, if it is almost time for next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should not apply two doses at one time.
  • If you accidentally apply more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not stop applying this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Precautions while taking this medicine

  • This medicine may cause photosensitivity (rash of skin regions exposed to ultraviolet light), avoid outdoor activities during and for the time being after use, regardless of weather conditions. Cover applied area with colored clothes, supporter, etc. and be careful not to expose to ultraviolet light.

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include skin exfoliation, local rash, redness, swelling, itching, irritation, blisters / erosions, pigmentation, subcutaneous bleeding, hives, eyelid edema, facial edema, and peptic ulcer. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
  • hives, dyspnea, facial edema [shock, anaphylaxis]
  • wheezing, dyspnea [aspirin asthma]
  • itching, irritation, erythema, rash / redness [contact dermatitis]
  • (under ultraviolet light) erythema with itching, rash, irritation [photosensitivity]

Storage conditions and other information

  • Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from light, heat and moisture.
  • Discard the remainder. Do not store them.
