Effects of this medicine

This medicine improves rhinitis (sneeze, runny nose, stuffy nose) by suppressing nasal inflammation.
It is usually used to treat allergic/vasomotor rhinitis.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicine.
    If you are a patient with infection or systemic mycoses.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is ((        to be written by a healthcare professional))
  • In general, for adults, spray 1 puff (0.05 mg of the active ingredient) into both nasal cavities, 4 times a day. For children, spray 1 puff (0.05 mg) into both nasal cavities, twice a day. The dose may be adjusted according to patient's age, weight and symptoms. However, the maximum dose is 16 puffs (0.8 mg) a day for adults, and 8 puffs (0.4 mg) a day for children. In addition, if the patient's symptoms are resolved, the dose will be reduced while observing the patient's progress thereafter. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.
  • 1 bottle of this medicine can be used for about 80 puffs. Do not use it more than that.
  • If you miss a dose, apply the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular applying schedule. DO NOT use a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
  • If you used too much of this medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.
  • Do not stop using this medicine without the instructions of your doctor.

Precautions while taking this medicine

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include nasal symptom (irritating sensation, itch, sensation of dryness, uncomfortable feeling), nose bleeding and infection (nasal/oral cavity and respiratory apparatus).
If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
  • seeing a ring around bright light, sensitive to light, severe eye pain [hypertonia oculi, glaucoma]

Storage conditions and other information

  • Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
  • Discard the remainder. Do not store them.
