Effects of this medicine

This medicine improves allergic symptoms such as sneezing, nasal discharge, nasal congestion by its antiallergic/antihistaminic action.
It is usually used to treat allergic rhinitis.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is ((        to be written by a healthcare professional))
  • In general, for adults, apply 4 mg of the active ingredient at a time either on your chest, upper arm, back or abdomen, and replace it with a new one every 24 hours. The dosage may be increased to 8 mg according to your symptoms. This preparation contains 8 mg of the active ingredient in a tape. Strictly follow the instructions.
  • Avoid applying on areas with wound or skin lesion. Wipe and make the skin of application site clean with a dry towel before applying the tape.
  • The tape should be replaced with a new one once a day. Make sure to change the application site every time you apply the medicine.
  • If you miss a dose, apply the missed dose as soon as possible and then continue your regular applying schedule instructed from your doctor. You should never apply two doses at one time.
  • If you accidentally apply more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not stop applying this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Precautions while taking this medicine

  • This medicine may cause sleepiness. Do not operate dangerous machinery, such as driving a car.
  • Pay attention that drinking alcohol may intensify sleepiness.

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include erythema on application site, itch on application site, papules on application site and sleepiness. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
