Effects of this medicine

This medicine delays the excitation-conduction of the heart by blocking the calcium channels in the cardiac muscle, and corrects the rapid or irregular heart beats due to tachyarrhythmia to a normal rate. It dilates the coronary arteries to increase the blood flow to the heart and the peripheral vascular systems to reduce the work load of the heart by blocking the calcium channels in the walls of the blood vessels. It reduces the occurrence of the symptoms such as chest pain due to myocardial ischemia.
It is usually used to treat tachyarrhythmia (atrial fibrillation/flutter, paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia), angina, myocardial infarction (except acute phase) and other ischemic heart diseases for adults, and to treat tachyarrhythmia (atrial fibrillation/flutter, paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia) for children.
