Effects of this medicine

This medicine directly acts on inflammatory tissues in oral and throat mucosae to suppress inflammation. It consequently promotes wound healing.
It is usually used in the treatment of throat inflammation, tonsillitis, stomatitis, acute gingivitis, glossitis and oral wounds.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicine.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is ((        to be written by a healthcare professional))
  • General dosage regimen: Push the medicine out at one time or put 5 to 7 drops (4-6 mg of the active ingredient) in an adequate amount of water or warm water (approx. 100 mL) to dissolve for a dose. Gargle the throat with the dissolved medicine several times daily. The dosage may be adjusted according to the disease, age or symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.
  • When you have an oral wound after tooth extraction, avoid gargling vigorously until the blood becomes coagulated.
  • Use a dose as soon as possible. DO NOT use double doses to make up for the missed dose.
  • If you took too much of the medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.
  • Do not stop taking the medicine without the instructions of your doctor.
