Effects of this medicine

This medicine dilates blood vessels and prevent episode of chest pain accompanied by heavy feeling of oppression or constriction.
It is usually used to treat angina.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
    If you have: hypotension, cardiogenic shock, angle-closure glaucoma, head trauma, intracerebral hemorrhage, anemia, or pulmonary hypertension.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is ((        to be written by a healthcare professional))
  • In general, for adults, apply 1 piece of tape (27 mg of the active ingredient) to any site on the chest, lower back or upper arm, at a time, once a day. If the effect is insufficient, the dosage may be increased to 2 pieces of tape (54 mg) at a time. Strictly follow the instructions.
  • Do not apply the medicine to your damaged skin, mucosa and area with eczema or rash.
  • Apply the medicine to an area where the medicine does not hinder the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
  • If you miss a dose, apply the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never apply two doses at one time.
  • If you accidentally apply more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not stop applying this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Precautions while taking this medicine

  • This medicine may reduce your attention, concentration and reflex ability due to adverse reactions such as headaches. Do not operate dangerous machinery such as driving a car.
  • Be aware of taking alcohol, since it may intensify the therapeutic effects of this medicine.

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include headache, headache dull, redness at application site, rash and itch. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
