Effects of this medicine

This medicine stimulates the central nervous system, increases sensory awareness, and enhances mental function. It also acts directly on cerebral arteriole, constricts cerebral vessels, and reduces cerebral blood flow.
It is usually used to improve sleepiness, malaise, vasodilatory headache and headache with brain hypertension.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
    If you have gastric ulcer or have a history of it.
    If you have heart disease or glaucoma.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • In general, for adults, take 0.1 to 0.6 g at a time, 2 to 3 times a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to your age and symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions.

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include, at large doses, tremor (shaking limbs), ear ringing, insomnia and restlessness. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
