Effects of this medicine

This medicine inhibits growth of bacteria which cause acne. It also loosens binding of corneocytes to improve clogging of pores. It subsequently reduces inflammatory rash (redheads) and non- inflammatory rash (whiteheads and blackheads)
It is usually used to treat acne vulgaris (acne).

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • In general, apply an appropriate amount of the medicine to the affected area, once a day after washing your face. Strictly follow the instructions.
  • Use only for the skin. Avoid applying to the eyes, lips, mucosa or wound site. If the medicine is attached to these areas, wash with water immediately.
  • If you miss a dose, apply the missed dose as soon as possible. You should not apply twice a day or apply two doses at one time.
  • If you accidentally apply more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not stop applying this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Precautions while taking this medicine

  • Avoid excessive exposure to ultraviolet such as sunlight and tanning lamps during treatment.
  • This medicine has bleaching action. Pay attention not to let it attach to your hair or clothes.

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include scale (peeling of scurfy skin), stimulation / erythema / dryness of application site, contact dermatitis, erythema and swelling extending to the entire face or neck. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
