Effects of this medicine

This medicine is a topical steroid and has the effects of dermal vasoconstriction/anti-inflammation to suppress dermal inflammation and improve dermal symptoms such as redness, swelling and itch.
It is usually used to treat skin diseases of the head (eczema/dermatitis, psoriasis).

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
    If you have skin infections due to bacteria/fungi/spirochete virus, eczematous external otitis with tympanic membrane perforation, skin ulcer or burn/frostbite.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is ((        to be written by a healthcare professional))
  • In general, apply an appropriate amount of this medicine to the affected area, once to several times a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to the symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions.
  • Do not apply the medicine to your eyes. If any lotion accidentally gets into your eyes, immediately rinse with water or lukewarm water.
  • This medicine should be applied only for therapeutic purposes. Do not apply this medicine as a makeup base or after shave.
  • Avoid using diapers or diaper pants that create a sealed condition when you apply this medicine to the areas where the diaper is in contact with the skin.
  • Do not use near fire.
  • If you miss a dose, apply the missed dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should not apply two doses at one time.
  • If you accidentally apply more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not stop applying this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Precautions while taking this medicine

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include skin infection, steroid-induced dermatosis (skin atrophy, telangiectasia, purpura), hypersensitivity (erythema, rash, hives, itch, heat sensation). If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
  • headache, blurred vision, eye pain [ocular hypertension, glaucoma, cataract]

Storage conditions and other information

  • Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from light, heat and moisture.
  • Discard the remainder. Do not store them. Ask the pharmacist or medical facility how to discard unneeded medicine.
