Effects of this medicine

This medicine enhances the ability of leukocyte migration and shows protective effect against local infection. It accelerates wound-healing with accelerative effect of granulation and anti-inflammatory effect.
It is usually used to treat pyoderma with eczematoid change and the following diseases with humectation, erosion and crust formation: eczema, dermatitis group, burns.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
    If you have: cutaneous tuberculosis, herpes simplex, varicella, herpes zoster, vaccinia, mycosis (candidiasis, tinea etc.), ulcer and burns/frostbite above second-degree.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • In general, apply an appropriate amount of this medicine or apply a sterile absorbent gauze etc. previously spread with the ointment to the affected area once to several times a day, however, the dosage may be adjusted according to the disease or symptoms.   • If you miss a dose, apply as soon as possible. Do not apply a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
