Effects of this medicine

This medicine is a bactericidal disinfectant, it shows bactericidal action by denaturing not only gram positive and negative bacteria but also fungal proteins such as bacteria and fungi without spores.
It is usually used for the disinfection of finger/skin, skin of surgery site (surgical field), medical devices, operating room/hospital room/furniture/tools/items, etc.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is ((        to be written by a healthcare professional))
  • Medical devices : In general, dip in the medicine without diluting (0.1 % of the active ingredient) for 10 minutes or if strict distinfection is needed, after cleansing devices with 2 % sodium carbonate solution, boil in the medicine without diluting (0.1 %) for 15 minutes.
    Operation room/hospital room/furniture/tools/items, etc : In general, apply with cloth, wipe or spray the medicine diluted 1 to 2 times (0.05 to 0.1 % of the active ingredient).
    Finger/skin : In general, after cleansing finger/skin with soap thorougly and rinsing with water, dip and cleanse with the medicine diluted 1 to 2 times (0.05 to 0.1 % of the active ingredient) and wipe off with sterile gauze, clothes, etc. In case of preoperative handwashing, brush hands with the medicine for 5 to 10 minutes.
    Skin of surgery site (surgical field) : In general, after cleansing with the medicine without diluting for about 5 minutes, apply 0.2% solution.
    Strictly follow the instructions in any case.
  • Do not drink.
  • Organic compounds such as serum or pus and soaps may weaken the disinfective effect of this medicine, thorougly wash out the substances, then use this medicine.
  • Pay attention not to let the medicine get in your eyes. If this medicine accidentally gets into your eyes, wash your eyes with water adequately.
  • Cotton balls, gauze, etc. must be kept in a sterilized condition, and soaked in the solution when in use for skin disinfection.
  • If you miss a dose, use a dose as soon as you remember.
  • If you accidentally use more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
