Effects of this medicine

This medicine is a disinfectant which has both bactericidal action as cationic surfactant and the detergent action as anionic surfactant.
It is usually used for the disinfection of finger/skin, wound site of skin/mucosa, operating room/hospital room/furniture/tools/items etc.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is ((        to be written by a healthcare professional))
  • Finger/skin : In general, after washing with the medicine diluted 50 to 200 times (0.05 to 0.2 % of the active ingredient) for about 5 minutes, wipe off with sterilized gauze or cloth.
    Skin of surgery site (surgical field) : In general, after washing with the medicine diluted 100 times (0.1 % of the active ingredient) for about 5 minutes, apply the medicine diluted 50 times (0.2 %).
    Mucosa of surgery site (surgical field) and wound site of skin/mucosa : In general, disinfect with the medicine diluted 200 to 1,000 times (0.01 to 0.05 % of the active ingredient).
    Medical devices : In general, dip into the medicine diluted 50 to 200 times (0.05 to 0.2 % of the active ingredient) for 10 to 15 minutes. In field of the tuberculosis infection, use the medicine diluted 20 to 50 times (0.2 to 0.5 %).
    Operating room/hospital room/furniture/tools/items, etc. : In general, apply or debride with a cloth, or spray the medicine diluted 50 to 200 times (0.05 to 0.2 % of the active ingredient). In the field of tuberculosis infection, use the medicine diluted 20 to 50 times (0.2 to 0.5 %).
    Strictly follow the instructions in any case.
  • Pay attention not to let the stock solution or concentrated liquid adhere to the skin / mucous membranes, as irritative symptoms may appear. Also, pay attention not to let the medicine get in your eyes. When in contact with stock solution or concentrated liquid, immediately rinse thoroughly with water.
  • Do not use on mucous membranes, wounds or inflamed sites for prolonged or widespread area.
  • As soaps may weaken the disinfective effect of this medicine, thoroughly wash out the component of soap, then use this medicine.
  • Use only for external use, do not drink. If swallowed, rinse your mouth well with water, drink water or milk, and see a doctor.
  • If you miss a dose, use a dose as soon as you remember.
  • If you accidentally use more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
