Effects of this medicine

This medicine is a synthetic adrenal corticosteroid preparation with anti-inflammatory effects and suppressive effects on allergic reactions. It improves sneezing, nasal discharge, nasal congestion, etc., by suppressing nasal inflammation.
It is usually used to treat allergic and vasomotor rhinitis.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
    If you have infection, systemic mycosis, tuberculous disease, respiratory tract infection, hypertension or diabetes mellitus.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is ((        to be written by a healthcare professional))
  • In general, after blowing your nose thoroughly, apply 1 spray (25 mcg of the active ingredient per spray into one nasal cavity) into each nasal cavity at a time, twice a day at the time of awakening and before bedtime. The dosage may be adjusted according to the disease, age or symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions.
  • Read "How to Use BECLOMETASONE NASAL POWDER 25mcg" thoroughly before applying the medicine. Moreover, make sure to read the precautions on the reverse side of the document before applying.
  • Only a very small amount of the medicine is sprayed at a time. You may not feel that the medicine has been sprayed, but if it is sprayed correctly following the instructions, the medicine is properly sprayed.
  • This medicine is intended to be applied to the nose. Do not take it orally or spray it to your eyes.
  • After use, wipe the nasal discharge attached on the tip and inside of the nozzle with a tissue paper (or a thin cotton swab, etc.) and then tighten the cap.
  • Put a check mark in a box on the storage bag after each spray in order to confirm the number of times sprayed (there are 60 boxes in total).
  • If you miss a dose, apply the missed dose when you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your next dosing schedule. You should never apply two doses at one time.
  • If you accidentally apply more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Precautions while taking this medicine

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include nasal abnormalities (irritation, sensation of foreign body, sensation of nasal congestion), olfactory abnormality, rash, erythema, itch and edema. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
  • eye pain, foggy vision, eye abnormalities such as suddenly reduced visual activity [ocular hypertension, glaucoma]

Storage conditions and other information

  • Store in the aluminum bag after opening and keep out of the reach of children. Store away from light, heat and moisture.
  • Discard the remainder. Do not store them.
