Effects of this medicine

This medicine is an aminoglycoside antibiotic gargle with an antibacterial effect, suppressing synthesis of protein that is essential for bacteria to grow.
It is usually used to treat secondary infection of wound of tooth extraction/oral surgery.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is ((        to be written by a healthcare professional))
  • In general, dissolve 3 packets (60 mg [titer] of the active ingredient) in approximately 500 mL of water or lukewarm water. Gargle with the dissolved medicine, several times a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to the disease or symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions.
  • Use only for gargling. Never drink this medicine.
  • For wound of oral surgery such as tooth extraction, avoid gargling vigorously as blood clot may peel off.
  • If you miss a dose, use the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and use the next dose at the scheduled time. You should not use two doses at one time.
  • If you accidentally use more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
