Effects of this medicine

This medicine is a vitamin C preparation with the following effects: preventing weakening of the skin/bone/blood vessels through involvement in collagen formation; protecting the adrenal gland from stress; and suppressing the production of melanin pigment.
It is usually used to prevent or treat vitamin C deficiency, to supplement vitamin C in situations where your body needs more vitamin C but dietary intake is insufficient, and for conditions in which vitamin C deficiency or metabolic disorder is assumed to be involved, such as drug poisoning or skin disease.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
