Effects of this medicine

This medicine shows bactericidal effect toward trophic bacteria (Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria) and fungi.
It is usually used for the disinfeciton of finger/skin, skin of surgery site (surgical field) , medical devices, wound site of skin and operating room/hospital room/furniture/tools/items.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is ((        to be written by a healthcare professional))
  • Disinfection of finger/skin: In general, disinfect with the medicine diluted 10 to 50 times (0.1 to 0.5 % of the active ingredient).
    Disinfection of skin of surgery site (surgical field) , medical devices: In general, disinfect with the medicine diluted 10 to 50 times (0.1 to 0.5 % of the active ingredient) or diluted 10 times by ethanol (0.5 % of the active ingredient).
    Disinfeciton wound site of skin, operating room/hospital room/furniture/tools/items: In general, disinfect with the medicine diluted 100 times (0.05 % of the active ingredient).
    Strictly follow the instructions in any case.
  • Do not use on mucosa surface of the vagina or oral cavity, ear or eyes.
  • Be aware not to let the medicine get in your eyes. If this medicine accidentally gets into your eyes, wash your eyes with water adequately.
  • Use this medicine only for external use. DO NOT drink and inject this medicine.
  • As organic compounds such as serum or pus and soaps may weaken the disinfective effect of this medicine, thoroughly wash out the substances, then use this medicine.
  • For hand wash use, change to a new solution at least everyday.
  • If you miss a dose, use a dose as soon as you remember. You should never use two doses at one time.
  • If you accidentally use more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Precautions while taking this medicine

  • Do not bleach clothes which this solution adhered to by chlorine bleaching agent, because it may cause a brown mark. Use oxygen bleaching agent such as sodium percarbonate for bleaching.

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include rash and hives. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

Storage conditions and other information

  • Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from light, heat and moisture.
