Effects of this medicine

This medicine suppresses gastrointestinal convusion and gastric acid secretion to relieve pain.
It is usually used for enhancement of secretion/hyperactivity and pain caused by gastric hypersecretion, gastritis, gastric/duodenal ulcer and spastic constipation. It is also usually used for analgesia/spasmolysis caused by anal diseases.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
    If you have glaucoma, dysuria caused by prostatic hyperplasia, heart disease or paralytic ileus.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is ((        to be written by a healthcare professional))
  • Enhancement of secretion/hyperactivity and pain caused by gastric hypersecretion, gastritis, gastric/duodenal ulcer and spastic constipation: In general, for adults, 0.2 to 0.9 g (20 to 90 mg of the active ingredient) a day, in 2 to 3 divided doses. The dosage may be adjusted according to disease, age and symptoms of the patient.
    Analgesia/spasmolysis caused by anal diseases: In general, for adults, use as ointment or suppository including 10% of the active ingredient.
    Strictly follow the instructions in any case.
  • If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
  • If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Precautions while taking this medicine

  • This medicine may cause blurred vision, dazzle, dizziness. Avoid operating in potentially hazardous activities such as driving a car.

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include hypersensitivity reaction. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
