Effects of this medicine

This medicine is an effictively proportioned combination formula of protein, carbohydrate, fat, vitamins and minerals comprehensively in an effective proportion, enabling efficient use.
It is usually used for nutrient preservation after surgery or for nutritional support in cases where dietary intake becomes difficult for a long period of time.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc..) to any medicines.
    If you have intestinal dysfunction, hyperglycemic disorder, kideny disorder or dehydration due to diarrhea etc.. If you are allergic to cow's milk protein.
  • If you are less than three month pregnant or expect to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is ((        to be written by a healthcare professional))
  • In general, for adults, take 1,500 mL to 2,250 mL (1,500 to 2,250 kcal) daily in a single dose or in several divided doses.
    Dosage may be adjusted according to your age/symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions.
  • If you are taking this medicine in several divided doses, do not drink directly from the can. Use a cup, seal the can completely with a cling wrap and store in a refrigerator. The package indicates that the formula can be kept in the refrigerator up to 48 hours, but at home setting, drink the leftover formula within 24 hours. After 24 hours, discard any unused formula.
  • If you drink the formula directly from the can or straw, please discard the leftover to prevent bacterial contamination.
  • Shake well before opening the can.
  • If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as possible. You should never take two doses at one time.
  • If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Precautions while taking this medicine

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include diarrhea, abdominal bloating, abdominal pain, rash, redness and hives. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
  • decreased consciousness, respiratory distress, nausea, sweat [shock, anaphylaxis]

Storage conditions and other information

  • Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight and heat.
    Avoid freezing and store in the refrigerator, and take it within 48 hours.
  • Discard the remainder. Do not store them.
