Effects of this medicine

This medicine is a new quinolone otic solution, inhibits DNA replication of bacteria, and shows antibacterial effect.
It is usually used for the treatment of otitis externa, otitis media.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is ((        to be written by a healthcare professional))
  • In general, for adults, apply the medicine 6 to 10 drops into the ear canal at a time, twice daily. After applying, a 10-minute ear instillation (keeping the ear facing up) is required. The dosage may be adjusted according to the symptoms. For children, the dosage will be decreased accordingly. Strictly follow the instructions.
  • The medicine should be used only for ear dripping.
  • Before applying, warm the ear drops to body temperature by holding the bottle in your hand for a few minutes. If the temperature of the medicine is low, dizziness may occur when applying it. Pay close attention that the dropper tip does not touch to the ear directly.
  • If you missed a dose, apply a dose as soon as possible when you remember that you missed applying. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never use two doses at one time.
  • If you accidentally used more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
