Effects of this medicine

This medicine has local vasodilating effect and hair growth stimulatory effect to improve alopecia and vitiligo.
It is usually used for the prevention of hair loss, for hair growth stimulation, and in the treatment of seborrhea sicca and vitiligo vulgaris.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any mcedicines.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is ((        to be written by a healthcare professional))
  • For alopecia and seborrhea sicca, In general, apply appropriate amount of the medicine to the affected area; or sprinkle the medicine on the whole scalp; twice to 3 times daily, and gently massage the head.
    For vitiligo vulgaris
    , In general, apply appropriate amount of the medicine to the affected area, 3 to 4 times daily.
    Strictly follow the instructions.
  • The medicine is irritative to the eyes. Avoid the medicine getting into the eyes. If the medicine gets into the eye by mistake, wash the eye with clean water immediately.
  • Sometimes general sweating associated with chill, shivering, nausea and vomiting may develop after applying the medicine. If these symptoms occur, stop using the medicine and wash it off with water.
  • If you missed a dose, apply a dose as soon as possible when you remember that you missed a dose. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose.
  • If you accidentally took more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not stop using the medicine without the instructions of your doctor.

Precautions while taking this medicine

  • Applying the medicine after taking a bath has a tendency to cause intensive side effects. If any symptom occurs, wash the application site with water.

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include local sweating, itching sensation, transient redness, irritating pain, and heat sensation. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
